When one takes their first drive to the top of Hermosa Avenue in Alta Loma, they are usually amazed to find a secluded and unique neighborhood surrounded by eucalyptus trees. This neighborhood is commonly known as "The Woods" of Alta Loma. The area has an interesting history and some of it's residents have lived there for decades. There is very little turn-over of real estate in The Woods, as it's residents love the area, the trees, and the location. Although the surrounding areas have greatly developed in recent years, The Woods has maintained it's original charm it had when it's first homes were built in the mid-1980's. It is still considered to be one of the most desirable areas of Alta Loma and a very special place to live. |
